Every Uccello Kettle comes with a stainless-steel gauze filter. The filter is there to prevent limescale/mineral build-up that could end up in your drink. Limescale can give your drink a powdery taste.
When cleaning the stainless-steel filter, please remember that it can be easily removed for cleaning. You can clean your filter with either:
- A mild detergent and damp cloth.
- By using a white vinegar bath and rinsing clean.
- Using 1 sachet of Oust kettle descaler. This will help descale the entire kettle and not just the filter. This will help reduce boil time and the cost of running the kettle.
